We have over 600 people working in three different time zones from our seven offices. Approximately 40% of our fee earners speak at least one other language.

Clients can deal directly with US lawyers in London providing US advice in London time, and UK lawyers in New York and New Haven providing UK advice in US time. We have the largest team of specialist US private client lawyers in Europe and more Italian speakers than any other City law firm which allows us to correspond in Italian if the client prefers.
Our Milan office enables us to offer English law advice to clients in Italy in diverse sectors such as luxury goods, banking and manufacturing. We act for high net worth Italian individuals with interests in the UK and US on their tax planning matters, and also for listed private companies and sole traders. The Milan office utilises expertise from across all departments and offices to offer advice that best serves the variety of client needs.
The Geneva office caters for the complex cross-border legal and wealth management needs of private clients, families, their businesses and the institutions who wish to access the firm’s advice via Switzerland, home to one third of the world’s privately held wealth.
Our office in Greenwich CT, the centre of the US hedge fund industry, which opened in 2006, is evidence of our continued but targeted and controlled growth.
We currently have secondment programmes in place for Assistant Solicitors from London to Milan, Geneva, New York , New Haven and Hong Kong and we have Associate Lawyers on secondment from the US to the London and Geneva offices.
