Jonathan Miller appeared on appeal in the High Court for the claimant following dismissal of a claim in the Edmonton Country Court in proceedings against the firm of LD Law Ltd.
The claim was for a declaration that the Defendant firm had no lien over documents relating to an estate and for an order that the firm deliver those documents up to the Claimant's solicitors.
The appeal addressed an administrator's powers to take steps prior to letters of administration issuing.
