The IRS is seeking information from Swiss bank UBS on U.S. taxpayers who may have used offshore accounts to avoid paying federal income taxes. The case was scheduled to go to trial July 13th, but the trial was postponed to August 3rd to provide the parties with more time to attempt to negotiate a settlement.
