Overview
Alona works within the corporate finance and banking team. She has experience representing investment banks and companies in a range of securities transactions, including Rule 144A and Regulation S bond issuance, MTN programs and debt tender offers.
Prior to joining Withers, Alona was an associate in the London office of a leading UK firm.
Alona's representative transactions include:
- Acting for top tier UK bank in its capacity as issuer and seller in relation to the establishment of €15 billion covered bond programme.*
- Acting for top tier US bank in its capacity as issuer and seller in relation to the €300 million securitisation of residential mortgages.*
- Acting for top tier US bank in relation to consumer finance receivables sale.*
- Acting for a world's leading airport company on its £50 billion Rule 144A bond issuance relating to the securitisation of the UK airports.*
- Acting for UK bank in its capacity as issuer and seller in relation to the £1.8 billion securitisation of consumer loans.*
- Advising a leading gold producer in Kazakhstan in relation to the partial offer by the Russian gold producer to acquire 50.1% of the company.
