Overview

Anthony focuses on corporate, commercial and corporate finance transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of businesses and shares for both private and public companies, joint ventures and capital raising. 

His work has an emphasis on cross-border transactions particularly those involving the UK, Italy and the US.

Highlights

  • Acting for the Milan Stock Exchange listed Eurotech SpA on its $60m reverse triangular merger with US embedded chip manufacturer Applied Data Systems Inc. 
  • Acting for Sarita Capital Investment Inc. in respect of the £14m takeover of QPR Holdings Limited, the holding company of the Championship football club.
  • Acting for the New York Stock Exchange listed S.M.P Inc on the disposal of its non-core French and Italian businesses.
  • Assisting Targetti Sankey SpA on the €242m acquisition finance of Danish lighting group Louis Poulsen.
  • Acting for AIM listed Fairplace Plc on the disposal of its Italian subsidiary.

Publications and speaking engagements

  • Co-sponsor with London Stock Exchange of a series of seminars on listing investment funds in New York and Greenwich.
  • Lecturing on raising capital for growth companies in London, Athens, Madrid and Milan.
  • Co-written articles on AIM and the merger of the London and Italian Stock Exchanges.
  • Various seminars on in-bound investment into the UK with 'Think London'.
