Caroline is part of Withers' Wealth Planning department and advises on a wide range of trust issues, tax and estate and succession planning, including governance issues.

Caroline's work has a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional trust structuring and pre-UK residence planning for non-UK clients. Caroline works regularly with the firm's US lawyers advising clients with US and UK issues. She also advises trustees on a wide range of fiduciary and related issues.


Caroline's recent work has included advising on:

  • Complex asset-holding structures for a major Middle Eastern business family
  • Trust issues arising from significant commercial lending arrangements by fiduciaries.

Publications and speaking engagements

As well as having written articles for various professional journals, including Private Client Business, Caroline is a principal contributor to the 6th Edition of 'McCutcheon on Inheritance Tax' with responsibility for Part 4 ('The International Dimension').
