Overview
Chaya practices primarily in the areas of complex contract, employment and commercial litigation, with a focus on business torts, restrictive covenants, employment matters, severance and termination disputes, U-5 expungement claims, securities litigation, internal corporate investigations, and alternative dispute resolution. She represents individual and corporate clients in civil, regulatory, and securities matters, in arbitrations, mediations, and in federal and state courts, at the trial and appellate level. Chaya has handled a wide range of complex matters for banks and financial institutions, financial consultants, high-ranking executives, individual founders of successful business enterprises, national and international fashion companies, art collectors, patrons, and art galleries.
Chaya is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
