Withers Studio Legale

Daniele is an experienced international tax advisor who joined Withers' newly opened Dubai practice, after having worked several years in Luxembourg as a tax manager for a Big 4 tax advisory firm. His main fields of expertise include international corporate tax planning for both MNEs and HNWI, advice on cross border mergers and acquisitions, IP planning, coordination of corporate tax compliance and assistance on all fiscal matters arising throughout the set-up, financing and ongoing operations of investment funds, both regulated and not.

Over the years, he has been assisting clients from a variety of industries, including alternative investment funds active in the hedge fund, real estate and private equity sectors, operating and financial companies, banks and insurance companies.

Daniele holds professional qualifications both in Italy, as a lawyer, and in Luxembourg, as an Expert Comptable.

Highlights

Daniele assisted a major Jordan-based private bank in the set up and transfer of assets to a newly established real estate fund vehicle, which included providing ongoing assistance over a 2-year long and complex negotiation process. Although adapting to the demands and time schedule of the parties involved was extremely challenging, immediate responses were provided to all major queries and issues raised. As a result, an excellent relationship was developed, enabling the client's desired conclusion to be reached.
