Overview

Diana focuses on Family Law. This includes the preparation of Pre-marital Agreements and all issues flowing from the breakdown of relationships. She is typically instructed in circumstances where there are complex financial issues or an international dimension.

Highlights

Diana represented Mrs Miller whose settlement after a short marriage was upheld by the House of Lords in the case of Miller and McFarlane 2006.

Diana co-authored the leading text for practitioners “Practical Matrimonial Precedents” and has regular speaking engagements on Family Law topics.

On a personal note

Diana co-founded the Family Mediators Association in the mid-1980s to extend the ambit of mediation to include finances as well as child related issues.

From January 1999 to 30 June 2007 Diana was Chairman of the firm whilst still maintaining a full caseload. She was the youngest and first woman to be appointed in this role by any of the country’s top 100 law firms.

Since July 2007 Diana has been concentrating on her family law clients.

Diana is married to the Principal of Hertford College, Oxford.
