Overview
Penny focuses on estate planning for private clients in both the UK domestic and international arena. She is based in the London office after spending three years on secondment to Withers' offices in the US.
Penny advises US families with UK interests and UK families living in the US. She also advises in the broader international planning context, particularly in connection with private trust company and complex governance structures.
Penny has been involved in the development of the firm’s Latin American practice and has worked closely with several high profile Latin American families in connection with the structuring of their offshore assets.
Publications and speaking engagements
Penny is a regular speaker at Withers' seminars. She has also spoken at various STEP conferences.
Penny has articles published regularly in 'America in Britain' and 'Trusts and Estates'. She is on the editorial panel of Withers' Practical Trust Precedents. Penny is also a contributor to Tolleys loose leaf publication 'Planning and Administration of Offshore and Onshore Trusts'.
