Overview

Von provides cross-border tax advice to U.S. and non-U.S. families and their family offices.  He counsels clients on structuring inbound and outbound investments to minimize their overall U.S. tax burden.  He also advises individual and corporate fiduciaries on the U.S. tax consequences of trust investments and on issues arising from their administration of trusts. Finally, he offers guidance on U.S. estate planning with an emphasis on the use of non-U.S. trusts by multinational families. 

Von is admitted to practice in the United States Tax Court.
