Members of the team have managed the UK anti-counterfeiting programs (or plans) of internationally well-known cartoon characters for almost 30 years, and we also regularly advise clients in the fashion and luxury brands markets on their anti-counterfeiting strategies.

We have advised leading Italian fashion brands such as Benetton on anti-counterfeiting issues.

We liaise closely with enforcement agencies in the UK, such as Trading Standards and HM Revenue and Customs, as well as in Europe and in other jurisdictions, to help protect our clients' valuable intellectual property rights.

Our client base is a broad one, spanning UK, European, US and other international companies and individuals.

Recent work 

  • Working closely with UK enforcement agencies on behalf of a US media client, to help clamp down on the sale and importation of counterfeit goods bearing the likeness of cartoon characters.
  • Advising a global electronic goods manufacturer on its anti-counterfeiting strategies in relation to ink cartridges for printers.
  • Assisting a leading car detailing product manufacturer in a campaign to prevent passing off and improper use of its trademarks.
