Our detailed knowledge of the brands sector, coupled with regular involvement in private equity transactions, means we are strongly placed to advise in potential investment deals. We also assist clients planning to invest in a specific brand, or to advise the brand itself or its existing shareholders.

The transactions in which we are involved generally have an international dimension. It's often the case that the parties involved in cross-border deals have differing expectations; we are experienced in identifying where this is likely to be an issue and in managing expectations as necessary.

Much of our investment work is in the fashion and luxury sectors: we have acted, among others, for Staff International (part of Diesel Group), and for smaller niche brands such as Matthew Williamson.
