Museums

Among our clients are several of the UK art galleries, including the National Gallery and the four Tate galleries. We also act for a number of private museums, art galleries and foundations, both in the UK and the US.

Our advice ranges from charity law and trust law and governance issues, to taxation, acquisitions and co-ownership arrangements with other museums, exploitation of intellectual property rights, legacies, fundraising and sponsorship. We also have a team dedicated to advising on Freedom of Information Act and data protection.
