In all successful businesses, employers face commercial pressures. Our team understands how this affects staff and employer/employee relations. We provide realistic and practical legal advice on employment law to help employers manage these concerns.

We work with employers in many ways including guiding them through grievance and dismissal procedures, advising on ‘family friendly' rights, assisting in company restructures, advising on employee benefit structures and conducting seminars and workshops on tricky management issues, including tips for hiring and firing employees. Our aim in every case is to develop the strategies needed to keep the business running smoothly.

Our client list is diverse, ranging from global manufacturing businesses, PR companies, recruitment firms, hedge funds and hotels, to non-profit entities, luxury and consumer brands, retailers, family offices and a Formula One racing team. Many have operations around the world.

Recent work

  • Advising those responsible for HR and finance for a Formula One team on the issues of general employment and confidentiality and successfully defending that team before the World Motor Sport Council.
  • Providing diversity training to the entire workforce of two financial services companies.
  • Working with hotels to identify the pitfalls of discrimination legislation during their recruitment process.
  • Designing and implementing a redundancy scheme for a financial services organization.
  • Advising on an early retirement scheme for a property company.
  • Successfully defending a recruitment company against unfair dismissal and sex discrimination claims brought by a senior male employee.
  • Representing an internationally recognized Italian-based, premiere tier women's apparel brand in all aspects of employment matters throughout the US, including the implementation of employee policies and risk management strategies.
