Recent work 

  • Managing the trade mark portfolio of a leading Italian wine manufacturer.
  • Acting for an Italian wholesaler of perfumery in relation to a trade mark infringement and parallel trade case.
  • Acting in two recent leading cases, Laboratoire de la Mer Trade Mark, and MasterCigars Direct Ltd v Hunters & Frankau Ltd and Corporacion Habanos SA.
  • Obtaining a unique form of injunction in relation to a claim for passing off, whereby the defendant was forbidden from using their own trade name because it had been coupled with our client's well-known brand.
  • Providing advice on the worldwide trade mark filing strategy of a wealthy individual.
  • Working with colleagues in the commercial practice on the trade mark aspects of an exclusive worldwide licensing operation.
  • Frequently advising on the trade mark issues of our fashion and brands clients.
