Construction, engineering & energy

Whether a scheme is commercial, private residential or not-for-profit, we ensure that each contract meets the specific needs of our clients. Contract drafting and negotiation are major aspects of our work. However, we also provide a range of project support services to enable successful project delivery.

We provide practical, commercial advice based on an in-depth knowledge of these sectors and the law relating to them. Projects procured by public or quasi public bodies often need to comply with European law, so this is another area where we add value, advising clients on compliant procedures at tender stage and beyond.

We act for private individuals, investors, institutions, charity trustees, major retailers, developers, consultants and contractors. Our hotel/leisure and retail clients include Soho House Limited, Ermenegildo Zegna Limited and Valentino England Limited. Charities we act for include Macmillan Cancer Support, The Royal Free Hampstead Charities, University College London Hospitals Charities and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
