Funds

Today’s investment funds, their investors and managers demand sophisticated regulatory and tax planning advice, which cannot be provided without a precise understanding of the nature of the investments in question, whether it is private equity, venture capital, debit/credit, real estate, hedge, social impact, art and collectibles or a hybrid of such categories. This is a vital consideration for all professional and individual investors, fiduciaries investing for trusts or other wealth holding vehicles, as well as for family offices investing on a pooled basis.

Funds structuring and establishment

We have experience of the whole range of fund structures, from open-ended and closed-ended investment vehicles to limited partnerships and unit trusts, and deal extensively with all the major offshore funds jurisdictions. A mix of tax, regulatory and commercial issues will typically dictate the structure and domicile of a fund, which we can guide you through with a co-ordinated approach.
