We have been providing advice in family law for well over 100 years and so we bring a great deal of practical experience and insight to our dealings with clients contemplating divorce or separation. We provide pragmatic advice on all the implications of divorce, separation and nullity, and on the financial consequences.

We aim to help our clients divorce or separate with dignity, and to keep bad feeling to a minimum. However, we know that some cases are bound to be contentious, and our team is skilled at handling family litigation when it arises.

Although many of our clients are based in the UK or have UK interests, we also advise an international clientele and have strong links with family law firms in other countries.  Six of our partners are members of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and we help clients with international interests decide on an appropriate jurisdiction for their court proceedings to take place.

Clients come to us from a wide range of backgrounds including the business and professional communities, the sports and entertainment industries, landed gentry and even royalty. But they are by no means always the family breadwinners: homemakers, male and female, also make up a large percentage of our client base. Whatever their circumstances, we pride ourselves on our discretion and confidentiality.
