In the UK, we frequently make applications to the English court to restructure trusts, using the court's powers under the Variation of Trusts Act 1958 or the Trustee Act 1925. We have made similar applications in a number of offshore jurisdictions and in a number of US states.

These changes to a trust's structure may be requested for tax, family or other reasons.

Our client base comprises high net worth families who are beneficiaries of trust structures that extend across the world.
