Me in a minute
For me, in law - there is litigation and everything else
I have always been fascinated by relationships between individuals in their home, work and society. Human behaviour is at the heart of law and every legal dispute.
I chose to practice English law because it is a long established element of international business. English court orders can be very effective tools of commerce. In recent years, I particularly recall obtaining a freezing injunction over the phone at midnight to freeze monies in the client-account of an opponent’s law firm and conducting a hearing in the home of a High Court Judge at Christmas time to prevent the imminent sale of a UK power plant.
For me, in law - there is litigation and everything else.
I enjoy solving disputes as part of my work. During periods of downtime, I enjoy hiking in the Scottish Highlands. I have also climbed extensively elsewhere in Europe, South America and Africa.
