Elizabeth Melia

Associate | London

Liz is an associate in the charities team.

She advises charities, donors and businesses on charity law and related commercial matters. There is frequently an international angle to the work she does.

Her practice involves establishing new charities as well advising existing organisations on matters relating to governance, funding, contracts, collaborative projects and regulatory matters with the Charity Commission.

Liz works for charitable trusts, charitable companies, CIOs, Royal Charter bodies and unincorporated associations, NHS charities and UK-US ‘dual-qualified’ charities. She also advises individuals considering a philanthropic project.
