Me in a minute
I wanted to be either an architect or an author
Growing up, I wanted to be either an architect or an author, but being a somewhat cautious person by nature, I ended up practicing law. I now spend most of my time advising high net worth individuals on pre-immigration planning, the US tax aspects of real estate investment and structures, estate planning, US tax compliance, and expatriations from the US. As part of the process, I have the opportunity to plan structures and often reduce the advice to writing - not that far from where I originally wanted to be.
I also practice my language skills and endeavor to learn new languages so that I can converse with my international clients in their own language as much as possible.
