Advised Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (The National Chamber for Italian Fashion) on the defence of its intellectual property rights over the internet against third party infringers.
Assisted CoSTUME NATIONAL on the successful completion of five administrative proceedings before the Chinese trademark authority against third party entities who registered the ‘C’N‘C’ CoSTUME NATIONAL’ trademark in China without EC’s consent. These were ground-breaking decisions, acknowledging the rights of well-known trademark owners against infringers.
Supported the French brand, Vionnet Fashion, in developing its distribution and retail network in Japan by an exclusive distribution agreement with a local partner for the opening of several new points of sale.
Drafted and negotiated IT contracts in relation to the information platforms and customised services of an high fashion Italian brand.
Provided assistance to a well-known Italian artist and designer in launching his collection of new works of art through a number of prominent US galleries in the east and west coast.
Assisted the media company of The Blonde Salad, the number one fashion blogger in the world (by reputation and number of followers), in setting up an e-commerce portal.
Provides ongoing assistance to a well-known luxury Italian jewellery brand in connection with their intellectual property rights.

I love dealing with the legal challenges of a changing world
I am passionate about my job because it is all about creativity and beauty. It gives me the opportunity to share in the vibes of the best entreprenurial and artistic environments in Italy and internationally.
My role at the Italian Fashion Chamber allows me to see the sector from the inside and experience the day-to-day world of the big and small brands alike: this is the truly best way to understand my clients’ needs and support the industry I care so deeply about.
Fashion, design and art are the primary focuses in my private life as well professionally since my very first steps in the legal world. I started practicing fashion and IP law at Valentino, in the golden era of Italian ‘alta moda’, and consider myself extremely lucky to have been there at that time. Now I am contributing to the development of IP as it adapts to the complexities of the global economy and the digital era. I act for small companies struggling to reach the vast markets in Asia and the Americas and for the big brands as they strive to shape new strategies in the new digital age. My specialisation allows me to deal with the legal challenges of a changing world and handle totally new issues never before considered. This requires a great deal of creativity and inventiveness which my creative clients often inspire in me!
