Intellectual property partner John Serio, who is based in Withers’ Boston Office, was featured in the recent Bloomberg Law article, “FDA’s Pfizer Vaccine Approval Adds Fuel to Biden’s Booster Plan,” which discusses this critical step in U.S. immunization efforts in relation to administering a third Covid-19 dose.
John explains to Bloomberg Law that passing a booster at this time is no longer an out-of-reach task. “You don’t start from ground zero. Getting an OK on boosters is now easier to do because you have an approved product where the safety and efficacy have been approved by the FDA.”
Additionally, John shares how “boosters are part and parcel to vaccine programs”, especially given the large body of data pointing to Covid vaccine safety.
