We are pleased to announce that Marissa Dungey, a partner in the firm’s private client and tax team, has been elected as a Fellow by the Board of Regents of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
The ACTEC Fellow membership is given to lawyers and law professors across the globe who display an outstanding reputation, exceptional skill and substantial contributions to the field of trust and estate law. The membership aims to highlight individuals who improve and reform probate, trust and tax laws, procedures, and professional responsibility.
With this appointment, Ms. Dungey becomes the 11th Withers attorney to be elected as an ACTEC Fellow, one of the largest numbers of ACTEC Fellows at a private client law firm when compared to others. Formerly elected attorneys include Elizabeth Bawden, Jenny Bratt, Jeremy Crickard, Mary Gillick, Michelle Graham, Carol Kao, Louis Mezzullo, Jeremy Moffit, Rebecca O’Toole and Karen Yates.
