Withers boosts private client and corporate tax expertise in Singapore with three new hires

International law firm Withers welcomes three senior hires to its private client and corporate tax practice in Singapore to support the growing demand for advice on the deployment of private capital. They comprise Partners Yeoh Lian Chuan and Koh Chin Chin, and Special Counsel Wong Wei Ling. Lian Chuan and Wei Ling join from Deloitte Legal (Sabara Law), where they were Managing Director and Counsel, respectively. Chin Chin joins Withers from EY, where she was an Associate Partner.

Lian Chuan and Chin Chin have over 20 years of experience in private client and corporate tax advisory. Lian Chuan focuses on tax, financial regulation, corporate law and compliance for private and corporate clients. He is widely known as a thought leader on tax issues, writes regularly and was a co-author of the Singapore Tax Academy’s The Law and Practice of Singapore Income Tax (2nd edition). Chin Chin specializes in succession planning for family businesses, family governance and family office set-up, advising on tax, legal and governance matters. Wei Ling has over 15 years of experience in a broad range of corporate law, securities law and funds related matters, including experience gained while working in China and Singapore.
