Withers takes part in the Homeless World Cup

Withers’ London football team (Withers FC) took part in the Homeless World Cup Kinetic 5s football tournament on Saturday 25 June held at Wembley Stadium, London.

The event was to raise money for the charity, Homeless World Cup, which fights poverty and homelessness through promoting sport. Its efforts around the world culminate in an annual tournament, where five-a-side football teams from 66 nations, made up of homeless players, compete for the Homeless World Cup.

Withers is delighted to support the Charity and has provided a donation of £1,800.  For more information on the charity, please view their website at www.homelessworldcup.org/
