Acted for a Nasdaq-listed US company in the healthcare sector and a Padua university spinoff in setting up a joint venture involving revolutionary technology which makes it possible to re-programme human somatic cells into highly efficient induced pluripotent stem cells.
Assisted a British-Indian client investing in a plant in central Italy to regenerate metals and plastic from used electronic items in an environmentally friendly manner. The project involved corporate, real estate and banking advice, procuring the necessary funding from both private investors and public sources, obtaining local and regional planning permissions as well as the employment, EPC and other contractal advice.
Assisted a well-known wheel manufacturer in the negotiation of sponsorship agreements with various F1 racing teams, including Ferrari, Red Bull Team and Mercedes AMG.
Advised on all contractual aspects (including shareholders agreements) relating to the purchase by an Italian company of a majority shareholding in an Indonesian joint venture engaged in gas distribution.
Provided contractual advice on an on-going basis to several of the largest Italian wine producers and its affiliates in relation to their commercial expansion in the U.S., Canada, Germany, the UK and the Far East. This involved setting up subsidiaries, joint ventures and representative offices and the execution of distributorship and agency agreements.
Assisted one of the largest associations of Italian vine-growing and winemaking companies in a joint venture with a Munich trade fair and in setting up a laboratory programme for wine analyses with other wine certification entities.
Advised a multinational clothing manufacturer and supply chain group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in relation to the acquisition of a renowned Italian sportswear brand and their business from a company in receivership (concordato preventivo).
