Associate | San Diego

Christina is an associate in the real estate team.

Her practice focuses on all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, with a special expertise in common interest development. For common interest development matters, she advises homebuilders and developers of residential, mixed-use and master planned communities in navigating the complex rules and regulations of the California Bureau of Real Estate ("CalBRE"). For transactional real estate matters, she advises owners, purchasers, lenders and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties throughout the United States.

Christina was a real estate professional for 20 years before becoming an attorney. Prior to joining the legal profession, she was the lead real estate consultant for the builders services division of a title insurance company and a job coordinator for the engineered wood products division of a wholesale lumber distributor. Most recently, she was a real estate specialist for regional and international law firms in the common interest development and transactional real estate practice groups while attending law school. Christina’s extensive real estate background and title industry experience supports a broad range of transactional matters associated with her client’s real property, including the drafting and negotiation of real estate documents and reviewing and analyzing title and other due diligence materials.

Me in a minute

I bring a practical perspective to real estate law.

My non-traditional path into the legal field provided me unique opportunities to be involved in various aspects of homebuilding, development and property transactions. Because of these opportunities I view our clients’ real estate matters from both a legal and a business perspective. I enjoy being a part of a real estate team, whether in connection with developing a property or closing a transaction. But more than any other aspect, I love the relationships I’ve built with my clients, colleagues and other professionals in my field.
