Me in a minute

Being a scientist-turned-lawyer, I integrate my technical and legal expertise to help inventors and businesses protect their valuable innovations.

My academic background in science allows me to understand the nuanced challenges faced by inventors and quickly grasp the gist of new inventions, even in technical areas I do not specialize. As a patent attorney with business acumen, I also excel in finding practical and creative solutions to realise the full market value of my clients’ innovations.

I believe in cultivating relationships based on trust and respect. As a true bilingual in English and Mandarin, I relish the opportunity to work with clients from different cultural backgrounds. My professional proficiency in both languages also ensure that subtleties in scientific and legal documents are not lost in translation.

When not in the office, I enjoy volunteering for my community, such as organising residents' events for young kids and elderly. I also enjoy hosting and playing various card and board games.
