Nicole graduated from Singapore Management University in 2020 and was recently called to the Singapore Bar in 2021.
Nicole previously had two internships with us in 2018 and 2019 where she was exposed to a variety of matters – ranging from matrimonial to insurance disputes. Subsequently, she undertook her practice training with us where she received training in the areas of corporate advisory work as well as matrimonial and employment litigation.
Nicole’s current areas of practice include employment and commercial matters where she assists individuals and corporations in both contentious and non-contentious issues. As an empathetic and people-oriented individual, Nicole finds meaning in the human element present in litigation. She is attuned to the needs of her clients - both personal and commercial - and this motivates her to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Outside of legal practice, Nicole enjoys directing and producing theatre productions and films, many of which revolve around thought-provoking issues such as mental health and most recently, the COVID-19 pandemic. She is an active church and youth leader at the Office for Young People and sees how empathy and community can help make a difference in the lives of individuals. Nicole hopes to bring this same element of human touch to her work as an employment lawyer.
