Vivien is an associate in the family and dispute resolution team.

Her practice focuses on family and commercial litigation matters, serving a broad range of domestic and international clients, from high net worth individuals to large corporate entities. Her clients are from a wide range of industries including banks, property developers, media, sports etc.

Vivien has substantial experience in advocacy, injunctions, mediations and trials. She has dealt with complex matrimonial financial disputes, defamation claims, contentious probate, employment disputes, shareholder disputes, applications under the Companies Ordinance and property disputes including claims based on implied trusts. She is also experienced in handling civil fraud claims and dealing with complex tracing and enforcement proceedings.

Acting for administrators of a substantial estate in defending claims for breach of duties and related shareholders’ disputes.

Acting for a motor race car driver in successfully invoking the Hong Kong Court’s supervisory jurisdiction over the Hong Kong Automobile Association (Lee Bing Fai Stephen v Hong Kong Automobile Association).

Acting for a bank in defending claims for miss-selling of structured products following the financial crisis in 2007/2008.
