Represented DKSH Group, a leading market expansion services provider in Asia, on its acquisition of the consumer goods distribution business of Auric Pacific Group Limited in Singapore and Malaysia for approximately S$218.4 million.
Series C investors
Acted for both Series C investors in a round of funding by a global e-commerce platform based in Singapore. The investors included one of the world's largest international mail, shipping and distribution organisations and a venture capital subsidiary owned by an Indonesia listed company. We advised our clients in the Series C round investment, including carrying out legal and IP due diligence in numerous countries, negotiation of various definitive agreements and completing the transactions.
PT PLTG Celukan Bawang
Acting for PT PLTG Celukan Bawang, owner of a power plant project located in Bali, Indonesia, as the lead counsel on its joint venture and cooperation with Chinese conglomerate Shanghai Electric Group Co. Ltd, in developing, building and owning a gas-fired power plant in Indonesia valued over US$1.3 billion. The Belt and Road Initiative projects along Indonesia's Regional Comprehensive Economic Corridor (CEC).
PT Kayan Hydro Energy
Acting for PT Kayan Hydro Energy, an Indonesian owner of a hydropower plant located in Kalimantan, Indonesia, as the lead counsel, on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract exceeding US$1 billion with Power China Group's Sinohydro, as well as related financing matters. The EPC contract forms part of the US$17.8 billion energy projects to be built by PT Kayan along the Kayan River in North Kalimantan. The Kayan Hydropower Station is a key project along Indonesia's Comprehensive Economic Corridor within the Belt and Road Initiative.
PT General Energy Bali
Acted for PT General Energy Bali, the owner of a coal-fired power plant situated in Bali, as the lead counsel throughout the entire project. This project is one of the key Belt and Road Initiative projects along Indonesia's Comprehensive Economic Corridor.

Assisted the partner-in-charge in advising clients in Initial Public Offering, Reverse Take-over and other capital market transactions which involved companies and subsidiaries in many different jurisdictions. We also helped clients to sort out regulatory compliance issues and to restructure their group of companies in these transactions taking into account the commercial considerations and objectives the clients wish to achieve and in consultation with foreign lawyers from the relevant jurisdictions.
