She integrates the knowledge she has gained working on corporate bankruptcies, mergers and acquisitions and private offerings to represent domestic and international family offices in a variety of corporate matters.
Segaal has represented private asset managers with fund formations, purchases and dispositions of portfolio companies, restructurings, private financings, corporate governance and obligations under US securities laws. Prior to private practice, she clerked at the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
She is experienced in cross-border work, is a Next Generation Member of the International Insolvency Institute, studied at Fundação Getulio Vargas and holds a masters in European Union law.
Segaal is a volunteer instructor with the Coalition for Debtor Education.
