En resumen sobre mí
My reward is felt in the satisfaction of my clients
Two decades ago, driven by a strong desire to ‘do justice’, I chose to study law - determined to do what I could to ensure just outcomes. Allied with the desire to help people I therefore chose to specialise in employment law and, shortly after qualification, joined Withers to assist individuals as well as companies. Well over a decade later those objectives and ideals continue to motivate me and I am delighted that they have been, and continue to be, realised on a daily basis.
Indeed, I feel blessed to have a role where I am able to make a difference. It is a privilege and a pleasure helping people to sensibly and safely navigate all aspects of their work lives - from negotiating terms on the way in, to handling issues when they arise and assisting at point of termination or when they branch out on their own. Frequently, my work is less about dispute and more about achieving resolution. Indeed, given that much of what I do relates to matters at the most senior level (such as board members, senior executives and other leaders), the bulk of my time is spent assisting individuals and organisations deal with matters quietly, commercially and in an ‘elegant’ manner.
Ultimately, my reward is felt in the satisfaction of my clients when their objectives are met and their aspirations are realised or when my assistance has helped a fledgling company to flourish. Moments that make me realise that I made the right choices all those years ago…
