Ali Woodcock-West


Ali is an associate in the Withers tech IP team

Ali advises on all aspects of IP protection, exploitation and enforcement, assisting with both contentious and non-contentious IP matters involving, amongst others, trade marks, copyright, designs, confidential information and licensing. She works for a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from luxury brands, hotels and restaurants, to financial services and technology, as well as charities and entrepreneurs.

Ali trained at Withers and during her training contract she spent time in Withers’ IP, commercial and employment teams. Prior to her training contract, Ali was a paralegal in the IP team, assisting with all aspects of IP protection and enforcement. She managed and coordinated a number of trade mark portfolios, both in the UK and internationally. Ali has also assisted with transactional matters and IP-related agreements and has experience in contentious issues, having assisted with cases in both the High Court and Court of Appeal.
