Hailing is a special counsel in our corporate team.

Hailing focuses on hospitality in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly across Southeast Asia. In her corporate and commercial practice, she works with hotel owners, operators and businesses in the wider hospitality leisure sector and advises on a wide range of cross-border transactions involving hotel ownership (acquisitions and divestments), hotel management, hotel operations, franchising, timeshare, co-working, leasing and legal due diligence.

Hailing also has experience with the S-REIT sector, where she has worked with real estate companies, REITs and business trusts in Singapore on their equity capital markets transactions (spin-offs/IPOs, private placements and rights issues/preferential offerings), general corporate transactions and regulatory compliance matters. In particular, she has advised on IPOs, post-IPO acquisitions and fund-raisings for SGX-listed hospitality trusts with multi-jurisdiction asset portfolios.

Advising an international hotel owner on the divestment of its property interest in an Australian hotel to its related hospitality trust.

Advising international hotel operators on corporate and land due diligence matters prior to their signing of new hotel management agreements and/or franchise agreements.
