The secret ingredient to being the go-to hospitality lawyer is an innovative and pragmatic mindset. This includes weighing up the bargaining power, unveiling the hidden concerns, building a multi-exit strategy and having a talent for persuasion in negotiations. This is a rare combination of qualities and Lada has got it all.

Rishi Kapoor Senior Vice President, International Development MGM Hospitality July 2017

Lada has gained our trust and has been our go to source for hospitality legal counsel; consistently delivering exceptional service and answers to our questions. We engaged her services on HMA contract negotiation and owner/operator dispute matters, and trust Lada’s knowledge and her abilities to take care of our hospitality issues. I would highly recommend Lada Shelkovnikova to anyone seeking legal counsel specifically in the hospitality field.

Stuart Etherington Director Hospitality Asset Management Dubai Properties Asset Management July 2017

I have been on opposite sides of the table to Lada in high value, complex hotel management agreement negotiations. Lada has a rare combination of detailed hotel operational knowledge, a mastery of the intricacies of the legal aspects of hotel management contracts built up over years of experience and a deep understanding of hotel industry legal trends. This, combined with a pragmatic approach to deal-making and her ability to explain complex legal points to her clients in an accessible and understandable way, makes Lada one of the best deal-focused external advisors I have had the pleasure to deal with.

Jeremy Barker, Vice President Legal EMEA Wyndham Hotel Group September 2016

Lada is one of the best, smartest and most detail-oriented counsels I’ve worked with, she is absolutely passionate about hospitality as her specialty and legal practice. She did a great job assisting us structuring our hospitality business and negotiating and amending our hospitality agreements. I enjoyed working with Lada and I would undoubtedly recommend her being one of the top hospitality practitioners.
