Lauren Rapeport
Associate
Lauren is an associate in the private client and tax team.
She advises on a broad range of trusts, tax, probate and succession planning issues, both domestic and international, for individuals, trustees, family offices and charities. Lauren was named as one of the eprivateclient Top 35 under 35 Private Client practitioners in 2019 and 2021.
Lauren frequently advises families and trustees on large restructuring projects, often with an international element. She has also worked alongside colleagues from other teams on a number of high value litigation cases both in the UK and offshore with complex trust law and tax elements.
Lauren has co-authored a chapter on the UK taxation of cryptoassets for a legal textbook to be published in late 2021, and regularly writes and speaks on topics related to cryptoassets and tax.
Lauren also has an interest in European cross-border issues, having spent 6 months in the firm’s Milan office, and regularly advises charities who have received foreign legacies.
Lauren completed her STEP advanced certification in the taxation of international individuals in 2021 with distinction.
