The GAR100 recognise Withers' international arbitration group as a leading practice worldwide

Withers established a dedicated international arbitration practice in 2014, responding to increased demand from our growing number of corporate and governmental clients. Since then, our practice has doubled in size and continues to grow at all levels.

The practice is co-headed by partners Hussein Haeri and Eleni Polycarpou, and is comprised of experienced arbitration practitioners across Europe, the US and Asia. Recent additions to the team over the past two years include partners Sherlin Tung (Hong Kong), Emma Lindsay (New York), Keoy Soo Khim (Hong Kong) and Cristina Pagni (Milan). In line with this substantial additional growth, we can offer our clients skilled specialists who can solve their disputes quickly and effectively around the world.

Working with governments, multinationals and individual clients as counsel and advocates to resolve complex international arbitrations, including commercial, investor-State and State-State disputes under all the major arbitration rules, our expertise has been recognised for the first time in Global Arbitration Review’s GAR100 list.

The GAR100 list represents the most active and respected international arbitration practices in the world, and is based on detailed research to verify the quality of each team’s work. Our inclusion in the list is a mark of recognition of the strength and track record of the practice, as well as reflecting the team’s reputation amongst clients and peers. One client who is quoted in the guide, following representation on an investor-state arbitration dispute, hails the team’s ‘knowledge, expertise and experience. They have efficiently, effectively and professionally managed the entire process including the involvement of litigation funders and expert witnesses…We highly recommend Withers.’
