Celia Lloyd Davidson

Celia is an associate in the intellectual property and technology team, and leads the art team in Europe.

She is a member of the intellectual property and technology team, advising on all aspects of IP protection, exploitation and enforcement. Celia has specialist knowledge in relation to a wide range of commercial and intellectual property issues of relevance to the art and creative sectors.

She has experience of working with a range of clients, from charities and entrepreneurs, to multi-national companies, across a number of jurisdictions. Celia has previously practiced with global law firms in Paris, Brussels and Alicante, the home of the European Agency for Trade Marks and Designs (OHIM).

Before joining Withers, Celia worked at a magic-circle law firm and is able to draw on her broad commercial and competition law expertise when advising clients.

Withers’ lawyers, including Celia on the IP side, implicitly understand that the value of a luxury brand is built on a discrete and boutique approach, which fortuitously fits very well with their own natural approach to business.

Amanda Lacey Luxury Skin Care

The team at Withers has been a great support to the creative development of our brand over the years, providing legal advice that has given us stability, and that is always informed by the firm’s deep understanding of the fashion industry. Celia’s advice on our worldwide trademark portfolio has given us confidence that our global brand will be protected and, more generally, is always available for more informal advice and ideas about our projects.

We have worked hard to create something special and poured a lot of love into the reputation and brand that we have created. We have always appreciated Celia and Withers support in protecting this thing that we hold very emotionally and financially precious and for their advice in challenging times.
