Carmen is a senior associate in the litigation and arbitration team.
Carmen’s practice covers a broad range of areas including commercial litigation, securities regulation, shareholders’ disputes, contentious insolvency and winding-up, anti-bribery investigation and tax disputes. She has represented multi-national clients and high net worth individuals at various levels of courts and tribunals in Hong Kong, as well as international arbitrations seated in Hong Kong or other jurisdictions.

Represented a US-based investment group of companies in civil proceedings brought by the Securities and Futures Commission in the High Court of Hong Kong pursuant to section 213 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, and assisted in discharging an ex parte Mareva injunction obtained by the SFC against the clients.
Acted for a London-based investment bank as an intervener in resisting a petition for the winding-up of an offshore fund in the High Court of Hong Kong.
Assisted a Singapore commodities trading company in the enforcement of FOSFA arbitration awards and recovery of debts from a Chinese buyer which had been put into administration by a provincial court in Shandong, China.
