Marie-Therese Groarke


Marie-Thérèse is an associate in the real estate team.

She specialises in construction and engineering. Her experience covers a wide range of sectors including residential and commercial developments. She has experience of advising a variety of clients on both standard forms and bespoke construction contracts including framework contracts, development agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, facilities management agreements, consultants’ appointment, collateral warranties and novations.

Having previously worked for RWE npower renewables, Marie-Thérèse also has experience of renewable energy projects.

Advising on and drafting the construction contracts for a project in central London that is part of an £8 billion development.

Carrying out due diligence on the construction contracts in relation to the acquisition of an office portfolio worth £325 million.

Drafting construction clauses in a sale and development agreement where the developer had bought land off a university in order to build a residential development. The development included 400 new homes as well as amenities and services.
