Shan You is a senior legal associate in the corporate team.

Shan You's area of expertise includes equity capital markets, which comprises advising companies or financial advisers for their initial public offering or reverse take-over exercises on the Mainboard or the Catalist of SGX, and advising public-listed companies on the regulatory and compliance requirements when they undertake various transactions such as placements, rights issues, acquisitions and disposals, share consolidation and other corporate actions.

She has also undertaken extensive amount of work relating to regulatory advice for the financial services industry, having advised many clients on CMS licensing requirements and frameworks under the Securities & Futures Act. She has also advised many clients in the fund management industry, from regulatory and compliance considerations, fund formations (including several VCC fund structures), downstream investments and licensing applications.

In addition, Shan You also worked on countless corporate transactions such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions involving private companies.
