Overview

Andrew advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, and advises on general commercial disputes. His employer practice covers both contentious and non-contentious work, including drafting contractual documentation, advising on grievance, disciplinary and dismissal processes and defending Tribunal and High Court proceedings.

Andrew also has particular experience negotiating both contractual terms and terms of settlement on exit, for senior executives.

Highlights

Andrew’s recent trial experience includes successfully defending an employer against claims of unfair dismissal and sex discrimination.

Publications and speaking engagements

Andrew has had articles published in national newspapers and HR trade magazines and has been interviewed on BBC News24 in relation to employment law aspects of office parties. He regularly lectures on aspects of employment law and civil litigation, both in English and Spanish (which he speaks fluently).
