Overview

Ben advises on matters involving corporate finance, capital markets (AIM and main market), private equity,  joint ventures and all aspects of general business and company law.  

Ben has worked on over 40 floats and capital raisings on the Main Market, AIM and PLUS, has acted on M&A transactions with values of up to $1bn and has a growing reputation for acting on transactions in Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.

Ben has acted on listings of closed ended funds on the CISX and AIM and assists a range of clients on their day to day corporate and commercial affairs, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

 

Highlights

Ben has recently acted on the takeover by Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone of QPR football club, a placing of shares in Kazakhgold Group Limited on the main market, the Luxembourg convertible debt offering by Radicle Projects plc, the AIM market float of Hightex Group plc and the investment by Greenhill into IFE, an in-flight entertainment company.

Ben has presented with the London Stock Exchange on AIM in Barcelona, Madrid, Geneva, Zurich and Athens. He has been profiled in Hedge Fund Review, Financial News, Bloomberg and Legal Week.

Ben loves the great outdoors – from viewing gorillas in Rwanda, fishing in Patagonia, white water rafting down the Zambezi or tracking Tapirs in Costa Rica.
