Chloe acts for commercial clients and individuals in all aspects of dispute resolution, predominantly international litigation and international arbitration.
She has experience in fraud, contractual and trade disputes and has handled ICC and LCIA arbitrations. Chloe has acted for a number of clients in the energy sector (oil and gas) as well as financial and government institutions.

Commercial Litigation highlights
- Represented the individual Defendants in a freezing injunction and search and seizure order which were served in support of a multi-million pound fraud claim.
- Represented a BVI company whose business is in oil trading in a claim against a UK and a BVI company whose respective businesses are also oil trading. Successfully froze large quantities of oil and attached bank accounts in support of the English proceedings and successfully obtained summary judgment on the whole claim with interest and were awarded costs.
- Currently representing the Claimant, a European publicly listed company in the business of petrol trading in a £64 million fraud claim for supply of defective cargoes of petrol.
- Acted for a Russian individual, the sole beneficial owner of a BVI company, in a claim in the BVI to transfer the legal title of the shareholding to him in the absence of the Trustee on the basis the directors were acting contrary to his interests.
- Successfully acted in a claim for conversion, on behalf of the Claimants, a very wealthy Kazakh family and the directors of a Jersey company, the owners of a fleet of luxury cars, in the reported case of Lightning Bolt & ors v Elite Performance Cars & ors.
- Successfully acted for Swiss individuals in successfully securing a freezing injunction in Anguilla over approximately US$ 6 million worth of assets and which resulted in favourable settlement.
Arbitration highlights
- Acted for the Claimant, a Russian developer, in an LCIA Arbitration together with a Russian law firm in a EUR 1 billion claim relating to the funding of the construction of a large shopping centre in Moscow.
- Successfully acted for a European government institution in an ICC Paris Arbitration to recover sums from a US company pursuant to a privatisation contract.
