Overview

With over 28 years experience in employment law, Elaine focuses on acting for senior executives, in particular advising on directors service agreements, senior executive severances, bonus claims, discrimination, whistleblowing, team moves and restrictive covenants (drafting and enforcement).

Regarded as being 'amongst the best individual employment lawyers in the London market' (Insider's Guides to Legal Services), she is described by Chambers 2011 as having a superb reputation for senior executive work and as "tenacious and intelligent".  Previously she has been described as a 'keen strategist and tactician', a 'formidable opponent', a ‘first-class operator' and 'supremely clever' (Chambers 2003-2009).

She is used to leading multi-disciplinary teams and is therefore a natural choice as team leader (corporate, litigation and wealth planning) projects.
