Overview

Graeme practices in both domestic and international trust and succession disputes. He also is a member of the firm’s Fraud Group and has an interest in professional negligence cases relating to trust, tax and succession matters.

Highlights

Graeme was involved in the much quoted Esteem litigation in Jersey in 2003 and was also involved on behalf of the claimant in P v G in 2005 which was the first big money Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.

Graeme is presently involved in a number of international trust and succession disputes involving USA, Continental Europe and the Middle East. Graeme has advised in many trust and estate disputes in most of the major offshore centres.

Publications and speaking engagements

Graeme regularly speaks on trust and succession matters both domestically and internationally. He recently spoke at and attended the Legal Week international trusts and succession disputes conference in Provence and has also recently spoken in Jersey and Guernsey on trustee liability issues with regard to holding shares in private companies.

On a personal note

Graeme’s interests and hobbies include bringing up his young family and attending football at Chelsea Football Club. He also plays badminton and tries to get to the gym as often as he can.
